Smoked Salmon Appetizer

If you are like me and have a busy schedule but yet love to host small gatherings, then read on.
I enjoy hosting but sometimes I just don’t have the time to prepare food and I’m not a kind of girl who would serve food out of a box or a can. Oh, no! I prepare it myself, fresh!
Well, this appetizer is easy to make and it’s so yummy! The whole platter was gone within minutes, but I was able to snap a picture before, so I can share it with you.
Here is what you need:
  • Olive bread
  • Goat cheese ( I like the kind mixed with herbs)
  • Smoked salmon
  • Arugula
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
Here is what you need to do with them:
First, slice the bread and toast just a little bit (you don’t want it to be to crunchy). Add goat cheese and smoke salmon and arugula on top. Drizzle just a little bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar on top. And there you have it!
And of course, everything is better with a side of Sangria ;)
Bon Appétit!

Art and Books...

Talk about unique? I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in, located in an old bank in Downtown Los Angeles; called “The Last Book Store”. From their decor, to collection of their books and soundtracks and friendly staff… I can spend hours there and not even realize it. Rooms within rooms filled with books, new and used. Upstairs, they have a great selection of used books and little stores where they sell all kinds of random things made by local artists.
As a bonus, lots of opportunities to take pictures.
